Things I do when I should be doing other things
Ok, this project falls under the category of "why"?
I took an old squirt gun and, rather than throw it in the trash, I disassembled it, painted and distressed it, and wired a white LED to the trigger. It took a leisurely evening to get it done.

Blanket Chest anyone?
Travel to the Orient has slowed for me (at least for now). I'm able to spend a bit of time with the family (nice) and jump into a few projects. I'm editing video for the wedding we shot in June, building some more Ghostbuster proton packs for sale for Halloween and, at Nora's request, building a Blanket Chest.
I've not built any cabinetry since the bookshelf I made a few years ago. I hunted around on the web to find some pics of different kinds of blanket chests and then created my own plans. The chest took a weekend to build, then Nora and I stained and polyurethaned it together.
What do you think?
