Web Move
The Lindenberg homepage will be moving to a new location. In the future you’ll want to look for us at www.thelindenbergs.com (that’s right, we got our own domain name).
Things have been pretty quiet lately. Pierce and Anna’s swim lessons continue and each kid continues to improve. Anna’s still exerting her independence –resulting in lots of "timeouts".
I just sewed up the data warehouse feasibility study my company’s been conducting for Illinois’s State Board of Education for the last several months. We had our close-out meeting this past Monday.
Pierce played a pretty good practical joke on me the other morning. After repeated attempts to wake him up I asked him to get out of his pajamas and go potty while I got Anna up. After a few minutes I checked in on Pierce –he had climbed back under the covers and had the sheets pulled over his head. When I pulled the covers back I found a naked, giggling Pierce just waiting for me. Since then he’s played the same joke 3 more times…
Nora and I have been on a planting kick. I planted a vegetable garden and she planted lots of flowering plants in the beds that opened up when we had the shrubs removed last summer (to make room for the new backyard fence). Last night Pierce and Anna helped Nora put in a few new things while I installed a rabbit-proof mesh around the garden (hopefully it will work).
The weather in the Kansas City area has been pretty variable. We keep swinging between delightful and cold and rainy. Yesterday was gorgeous –we took advantage of the day by eating dinner out on the patio and running around the yard until bedtime. Pierce and I played a rousing game of Frisbee (he’s getting pretty good), and Anna and I played catch with a soccer ball.
