The Lindenbergs

I asked Pierce if he would like to draw on the chalkboard with me last night. He gave me an enthusiastic yes. He proceeded to draw a house with a window and a door, a driveway, a parked car, and Joe and Steve (from Blue's Clues) and wispy clouds skirting across the sky. With the exception of Joe and Steve, which were just stick figures, everything was easily recognizable.

It seems like just yesterday Pierce was barely drawing recognizable circles. He seems to get real joy from being creative. I hope its something that he will continue to enjoy through his whole life.
